How to Get Pregnant With Short Luteal Phase | Ovulation and Luteal Phase

Short luteal phase can cause an immense amount of pregnancy problems. If you are thinking of getting pregnant with luteal phase defect, it is difficult and needles to say risky business. Anyway, why would anyone try to conceive when body is out of alignment? Your chances of getting pregnant are identical as everyone else’s, but your risk for miscarriage is very high, mainly because your LP needs to be over 10 days for proper implantation to take effect..
That truly brings me to the basic of the basics. We really need to work on our well-being, and work hard! We can have quick fixes, but fast repairs sometimes carry out unexpected results.
When a couple experiences problems in conceiving a child, the cost of treatment can be very high. Medications and surgeries can cost a lot of money and sleeples nights in the long run.
Ovulation and Luteal Phase – Statistically, almost no women have 28 day cycles if ovulation occurs on day 14. Some women sometimes have 28 day cycles, but a very short luteal phase which could mean ovulation won’t occur until day 20, or a longer luteal phase that could cause ovulation to occur on day 11. Many women have cycles which vary significantly from the standard 28 days and thus they have no clue when they really ovulate.![]()
There are many complex and interrelational endocrine elements that influence the luteal phase. For example, there is not enough estrogen to prepare the cervix, trigger ovulation, or thicken the endometrium for implantation.
This will be evident in the BBT chart, as constant low temperatures with possible saw-tooth variations which indicate liver and/or heart fire.
Remember, there’s no room for guessing if you want to get pregnant. You need to do your research, re-discover your body and identify your peak fertile phase.
With patience, I have researched, worked and discovered how to overcome short luteal phase and boost fertility naturally, and so can you.

Hi, I just had a question. My husband and I are getting ready to try for baby #3. My menstrual cycles are 28 days and I usually ovulate about a week before my period. The last 2 children were conceived on Lo-ovral and the mini pill. Looking back on things it looks like I had the same thing going on with ovulating right before my period. With baby #2 I ended up getting pregnant and had my period about a week later. I know it was not implantation bleeding as it was the normal 3 days and heavy. After getting an ultrasound done it showed that I was pregnant right before I had my period. So I am looking back on things and seeing that I have a very short luteal phase. Obviously it is possible to get pregnant like this but am concerned about trying to get pregnant this time without being on any type of birth control. Thanks for any advice.
